Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to FSSP.com and MissionTradition.us. The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (“Fraternity”) governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter include FSSP.com and MissionTradition.us. The Fraternity operates its websites as part of its 501(c)(3) non-profit corporate status. By using the Fraternity’s websites, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

If you choose to contact the Fraternity, or sign up for our newsletter Memento, the Fraternity may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • Name
  • Address
  • E-mail Address
  • Phone Number

If you make donations, enroll in novenas or our Adjutorium program, or purchase products from the Fraternity, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the donation or purchase transaction.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by the Fraternity via Google Analytics. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of our website, to maintain quality of our websites, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Fraternity’s websites.

The Fraternity encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from the Fraternity so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. The Fraternity is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Fraternity’s websites.

Use of your Personal Information

The Fraternity collects and uses your personal information to operate its websites and deliver the services you have requested.

The Fraternity may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of new novenas, programs, or initiatives available from the Fraternity or its associates. The Fraternity may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of our mission, or of potential new initiatives that may be offered.

The Fraternity does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

The Fraternity may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Fraternity, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

The Fraternity may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within the Fraternity, in order to determine what Fraternity offerings and content are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content within the Fraternity to supporters whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area or offering.

The Fraternity will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Fraternity or its websites; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Fraternity; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Fraternity, or the public.

The Fraternity secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The Fraternity uses the following methods for this purpose:

  • COMODO or Let’s Encrypt (Certificates), Authorize.Net (Credit Card transactions), or Stripe.com (Credit Card transactions)

When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, and it is shared with the PCI-compliant processors listed above.

Children Under Thirteen

The Fraternity does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use these websites.

Applicable Law

Disputes

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to the fraternitypublications.com Web site or to products you purchase through fraternitypublications.com or from Fraternity Publications Service shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Manchester, New Hampshire USA, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Fraternity Publications Service’s intellectual property rights, Fraternity Publications Service may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the State of New Hampshire USA, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
